Ms. Inês Almeida Garrett is working for Portuguese National Tourism Authority as representative in China. She has worked in Beijing, China for AICEP – Portuguese Business Development Agency from 2006 to 2008. At the end of 2008, she became a consultant in Invest Lisboa, which aims to attract investors, businesses opportunities and enterprises to the capital. From 2009 to 2010, she was vice director of Portugal Pavilion in Expo 2010 Shanghai. She went back to Portugal in 2011 to serve as coordinator of História do Futuro project and TEDxEdges Volunteers and logistics director. She worked as export manager at Dan Cake Portugal in 2011 to 2013 and then as general manager of Prime Wines, Shanghai.
With a bachelor’s degree in international relations and post graduate in entrepreneurship, she was once general manager for an education materials company in Lisbon.
