Frequently Asked Questions about Buyer Application Process

Who is eligible to become a buyer? Who does the buyer meet?

The buyer must work in Leisure Travel, MICE Travel or Corporate Travel and has the decision-making power over purchasing and supplier selection, or is the decision maker for the purchase of travel technology products. The buyer will meet with product and service suppliers from around the world.

When will the buyer registration open? How can buyers register?

The application for the Buyer Program starts from 26 July 2021 to 20 October 2021. If you want to apply as buyer, you can register HERE.

How does the application process for the Buyer Program look like?

Applicants for the Buyer Program must first apply through the ITB China Buyer Registration System. The ITB China buyers team will review and check the buyer’s qualification, travel product procurement records, buyer’s attendance and exhibitor’s evaluations in previous ITB China exhibitions. The buyer-applicant will receive the result notification by email.

How long does it take to get the result?

The approval process takes around 8 weeks.

How to check the application process and result?

Buyer applicants can log into the ITB China registration system to check their application status. Once the applicant has received the final approval from the organizer, he/she will receive more information on the specific buyer package and related obligations via email.
