Biography

As a scientist for World Animal Protection, Dr Sun has worked in the field of animal protection for more than 20 years. He held a doctorate degree of Zoology. He joined the World Animal Protection in 2011 and mainly works on wildlife campaigns. Meanwhile, he also provides seicntific support for other campagins in China. He was a fellowship of International Visitor Program sponsored by US States of Department, a member of Natonal Wildlife Rehabilitation Association and China Ornithology Society. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed articles and dozens of popular science writings, and co-authored 5 books, including A Checklist on The Classification and Distribution of the Bords of the Wolrd, A Guide for Wildlife Relsease, A Handbook for National Nature Reserve Management and An Introduction to Animal Welfare.
