Rio Chen

Rio Chen is the Director of the Scientific Expedition Travel Division at Chinese National Geography, where he leads the planning and execution of over 100 themed expeditions across China and beyond. He is at the forefront of developing an innovative model of expedition-based travel that integrates geographic discovery, ecological research, and intercultural dialogue. Rio is dedicated to enhancing the scientific and educational impact of travel, while championing sustainability through the “Expedition + Travel” paradigm.
