Alibaba Rural Public Welfare Tourism Practice
Alibaba, in partnership with Fliggy, has launched the “Discover Rural Beauty” Rural Tourism Digital Enhancement Initiative, driving the digital transformation of rural cultural tourism through technology, industry, and talent revitalization. The project has empowered nearly 80,000 practitioners via AI training, philanthropic e-commerce platforms, and digital travel guides, while incubating blockbuster tourism products generating over 20 million yuan in sales. It also established the “Hundreds-Thousands-Tens of Thousands” digital infrastructure program. Leveraging Alibaba’s ecosystem, the initiative activates rural cultural tourism with new quality productive forces—preserving traditional craftsmanship, expanding income channels, and harmonizing urban-rural prosperity with ecological sustainability. Together, we illuminate the future of rural revitalization through the warmth of digital innovation.
