Biography
Graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University, studied international development at the University of Ottawa, Canada, served as Vice Consul at the Chinese Embassy in Belgium, Senior Program Officer at the Canadian International Development Agency (in charge of China-Canada Education, Poverty Alleviation, Maternal and Child Health, and the Environment), Consul at the Consulate General of China in Strasbourg, France, Consul at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Gabon (wife of the Ambassador), Consul at the Embassy of China in France, member of the Advisory Board of the UNESCO Center for Sustainable Development, and special Professor of Foreign Languages College of Changchun Normal University, Member of the Advisory Board of UNESCO Center for Sustainable Development.
She has been awarded as Outstanding Diplomat by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs several times, and received the Individual Contribution Award from the China Women’s Foundation and the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Tunisian Women’s Federation in 2018, as well as the Outstanding Women’s Contribution Award in China-Africa in 2023.
