Federica IELLICI

Federica Iellici is a Programme Officer at UN Tourism, working within the Market Intelligence, Policies and Competitiveness Department. She leads initiatives under the Tourism for Rural Development Programme, including the Best Tourism Villages Network and the Tourism for Rural Development Small Grants Programme. With over a decade in the UN system and prior experience at UNESCO, she has managed projects on cultural heritage, community empowerment, and sustainable tourism development globally, across East Asia and in the Middle East. Her work focuses on advocacy, skills development, knowledge creation, and local interventions. Federica holds an MPA in International Development from Tsinghua University, China.
